FuTiLE is the game that lets you create order form chaos and have fun while you're doing it.
Unscramble 35 colored and labeled tiles in as few moves as possible. The more you play, the better
you get, and with four difficulty levels to choose from, you are never left without a challenge. For
hours of mind stimulating fun, FuTiLE is the only game you'll ever need.
FuTiLE has four levels of play: Pretty Easy, Kinda Hard, Brain Buster and FuTiLE. The Pretty Easy level consists of a 6 x 6 matrix of tiles with each 3 x 3 quadrant a different color. The Kinda Hard level has the same colors as the Pretty Easy level, but also has the number 1, 2 or 3 on the tiles. The Brain Buster level is similar to the Kinda Hard level except now each tile in a quadrant has a unique number from 1 to 9. In the FuTiLE level each tile has a unique letter from A to Z or a number from 1 to 9 on it. One tile is removed from each level matrix to allow for the remaining tiles to be moved around.

The tiles are scrambled and Touching a tile adjacent to the blank space on an Android device causes
the tile to slide into the vacant location. Continue moving the tiles around until all of the colors are
collected into the four quadrants and the numbers or letters on the tiles are in the proper places.
For the Pretty Easy level, a color tile can go into any of the nine locations in its 3 x 3 color matrix,
and the matrix can go into either of the four quadrants, so a tile could go into any of the 36 locations
in the 6 x 6 matrix.
Since the tiles have the numbers 1, 2 or 3 on them in the Kinda Hard level, each tile can go into only
three locations within its 3 x 3 color matrix, and therefore, only 12 locations in the 6 x 6 matrix.
This is three times more difficult than the Pretty Easy level.
The Brain Buster level has a unique number from 1 to 9 in each tile in a color matrix, so each tile can
go into only one location in the 3 x 3 matrix. This means that since the 3 x 3 color matrices can go
into any quadrant in the 6 x 6 game board, there are only four possible locations a given tile can end
up in. That make Brain Buster level three time more difficult than Kinda Hard level and nine times
more difficult than the Pretty Easy Level.
Finally, in the FuTiLE level, each tile has a unique letter or number on it so that there is only one place
in the 6 x 6 game board matrix that it can go. This makes the FuTiLE level four times more difficult
than the Brain Buster level, 12 time more difficult than the Kinda Hard level, and 36 times more
difficult than the Pretty Easy level.
When the puzzle is solved, the game board displays PUZZLE SOLVED and a dialog box appears
requesting the player to input his or her initials. Touching the text area produces a soft keyboard to
facilitate the input. The box will accept up to three characters and capitalizes the letters. Once the
initials are input, if the score is within the top 15 scores for the level, the score board is updated.
At that point, the Back button on the Android device must be touched to continue play.
FuTiLE starts by displaying a GAME MENU which has four options on it: Play FuTiLE, FuTiLE Scores,
FuTiLE Help and About FuTiLE. Touching the tile next to Play FuTiLE opens the GAME LEVEL screen
which displays the four game level options and an option to retrieve the saved game. Touching the
FuTiLE Scores option on the GAME MENU displays the SCORES screen which opens showing the top
scores for the Pretty Easy level. Touching the colored tabs at the top of the score box changes the
level scores displayed. The FuTiLE Help and About FuTiLE options display instructions on how to play
the game and a brief description of the game, respectively.

At any time during the game prior to the puzzle being solved, the game can be saved. Simply touch
the Save button below the game board and a dialog box appears asking if the game should be saved.
Touch yes, and the game is saved, indicated by the message just above the game board after the
save. FuTiLE can only save one game at a time, so each time a game is saved, the previously saved
game is written over. Once a game is saved, it can be retrieved by going to the GAME LEVEL menu
and selecting Saved Game. The game board is set to the configuration it had at the time of the save,
and is ready for play to be resumed.

The ability to save a game allows for some interesting play options. A game can be saved at some
point during play so that a variety of solution strategies from that point can be explored. If the
initial game board is save (Moves: 0), then it can be repeatedly retrieved so that multiple players can
solve the puzzle in competition with each other. Working on the puzzle for a while, then saving it
allows a difficult puzzle to be worked on over time to solve it. Progress made while time is available
to work on the puzzle is not lost because of interruptions or a need to attend to other things.
Whether waiting on that delayed flight, sitting in some doctor's waiting room, passing time between
classes, or just looking for a challenge to break up the day, FuTiLE is the way to go. Challenge
friends and family to see who's the best.
FuTiLE is available at the Android Market for $1.49. A small price to pay for hours of challenging fun.
